We have learned that the Native Americans used a lot of fire crack rocks & knives. Also we found a big piece of grinding stone that had knives hidden under it & also a piece of a tri-pod bowl. It was actually the foot of a tri-pod bowl. Some of our students also helped Mrs. Kirby make the Wattle & Daub houses which was fun also. We learned a lot about those & I never thought they used grass to help make the mud stick to the houses, thought it was just water & mud. The quote of the day is "Our dig site is the best site!"
